Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation

 

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.

Deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking. Payment of the booking deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If the booking is within 14 days from arrival the full amount will be charged.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

It is strongly recommended that you take out Travel Insurance to cover any cancellations as refunds are not offered within 14 days prior to travel. Refunds will not be offered to no shows and cancellations on the day.

Outside 14 days prior to arrival: A $50 administration fee is payable.  This will be taken from your security deposit or booking payment, all other monies will be refunded or placed into credit. For bookings within 14 days prior to arrival: Forfeiture of the 50% deposit paid,  and any costs associated with reservations such as tours, meals etc are non refundable. No refunds shall be given for these additional extra bookings provided by external providers. This will be taken from your security deposit or booking payment, all other monies will be refunded or placed into credit. If there is a no show or cancellation is within 48 hours of stay then the full amount charged is forfeited.

In the event of Covid lockdowns, all deposits will be carried over as credits to future dates.

 

We allow guests to change their booking dates or we can hold their payment in a client account until they wish to rebook. (12 months holding account only) Please note we do not give refunds for early departures, COVID, or bad weather.

 

All of Church Booking: Bookings for the entire Church will require a $500 deposit. Cancellation within 1 month (or 30 days) of arrival will result in the forfeit of the deposit.

 

Linen: All linen and towels are supplied.

 

Breakages: All breakages must be paid.

 

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions:

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.

Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance. This may include extra uses such as wedding preparations and photography sessions - see below:

The property can only be used for weddings and functions by pre-arrangement and the agreed payments have been finalised including a bond.

The bond will be used to cover breakages and extra cleaning.

Functions includes weddings and parties but also the use of the property for wedding preparation, photography sessions, event preparation and any other use where the use is other than accommodation.

Accordingly the normal stated accommodation rates do not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments.

 

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the guests responsibility during their stay.

 

Departure: the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.

 

Check-out time: is 10am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.

 

Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.

 

Loss: the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.
